Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Breim is an actress from Iceland. Briem was nine when she began acting at Iceland's National Theater. She participated as a child in numerous radio and television productions, shows and other productions in Iceland. Briem moved from Iceland to London when she was 16 and was a part of an opera called Lenin's Love. Briem received a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19. For the next 3 years, she attended the academy and earned a drama degree and it was awarded the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight. While studying at RADA, he performed in numerous plays including The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov in addition to Bernarda Alba's House written by Federico Garcia Lorca. Briem kept her acting career going acting in London and was a part of shows like Catalog of Misunderstanding (directed by Mike Figgis) at the National Theater Studio.
